Deuteronomy 29:29
LOCATE YOUR LOCATION:
The power of place
“Locate Your Location” emphasizes the importance of being mindful of the people and influences we allow into our lives.
The scriptures of the day, Deuteronomy 29:29 and Matthew 13:3-7, highlight the significance of our surroundings. The word stresses the need to be sensitive to those who enter our environment and to be mindful of what nourishes our souls. Your environment shapes your identity.
For instance, the spiritual realm operates on a concept of time called Kairos, which refers to God’s appointed time. The word mentions the existence of a time specifically designated for men, referred to as Kronos. In the human world, time governs everything, but in the divine world, time does not have complete authority. This text consists of Greek words. This phrase suggests a connection between human and divine timing. Many individuals struggle to succeed in Kairos and give up on themselves. Kronos, representing chronological time, acknowledges the authority and supremacy of Kairos, representing God’s divine timing. When a divine message or truth is transmitted from God’s presence to humans, it becomes a form of revelation and once something is revealed to God, He cannot return and reclaim it.
Mathew 13:3, the text primarily focuses on the environment related issues. The environment plays a crucial role in determining outcomes. Rather than solely relying on God, it ultimately depends on one’s own determination and effort. This quote emphasizes that while salvation leads to heaven, it is through revelation that one can experience heaven in their current life and Ignorance is portrayed as a significant adversary that should be fought against. Rejecting knowledge not only impacts the individual but also future generations, causing suffering.
The word emphasizes the significance of one’s environment in shaping their outcomes. The Bible provides examples that highlight the significance of one’s surroundings. Ruth and Naomi’s story involves Ruth marrying one of Naomi’s sons. Be like Ruth who decided to stay with her mother-in law no matter what and embrace Naomi’s God as her own. Naomi’s physical appearance may not have been extraordinary, but she possessed the ability to tap into her spirituality and discover her true path in life.
Remember, once you locate your location, or come to the location of God (which is 𝑇𝑜𝑝𝑜𝑠 in Greek), once that location is revealed to you, it will impact your life and your generation forever (Deuteronomy 29:29)!!

I have seen a wicked man wielding great power,
flourishing like a shade tree in its native soil.
But I passed by again, and he was no longer there;
I looked for him, but he could not be found. (psalms 37:35-36) amen selah
