THE FIRE AND THE ALTAR

The  book of Leviticus 6:8–9, it states, “And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.”  Leviticus 6:13 further states, “The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.”

Every child of God ought to comprehend the significance or mystery of altars and use discernment and wisdom to follow God’s will. The verse states that God is establishing the law and specifies exactly what He wants Moses to tell Aaron. According to the law, the fire shall never go out and must burn for many generations to come.

There are times when we have extensive knowledge about a subject but limited experience with it; this is a result of our inability to interact with the dimension of application. Participating in the application dimensions of God’s intended administration is crucial for men. The application yields the desired outcomes for us as God’s children. Therefore, wisdom is the appropriate application of one’s knowledge.

What is an altar?

* An altar is where covenants are activated and maintained.

* There are divine altars and diabolic altars.

* An alter is a place where humanity meets divinity

There must be an altar whenever a covenant is established. Covenants cannot be established without an altar. Just as Jesus Christ establishes a covenant between a person and God, receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour is done through what is known as an altar-call in churches. On the altar, you are coming into a covenant with the Lord. In the same way that people make vows at an altar upon being married, so too do they form a covenant there. A priest is present to give his approval for anything said on the altar. The Bible says that Aaron was a priest, and God gave him the authority to let the fire burn without going out.

God cannot bring to pass in life beyond what individuals have permitted to occur around the altar in terms of experiences and activities. In other words, God acts according to what occurs around an altar. Altars are what change people’s lives. Everybody has an altar, and it poses a risk for someone to be unaware of his or hers. Just because one did not erect an altar, it does not mean that an altar in your life does not exist. Life is a battle between altars where people’s fates or destinies are decided. The spirit has validated or authorized everything that materializes on earth. On altars, things are authorized; once demonic altars approve of your life, you will start to experience and produce negative results in your life.

Revelation 8:3 states, “And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.” This scripture reaffirms that angels are aware of and comprehend altars. Since prayers are offered on altars, there ought to be an altar both here on earth and in heaven every time someone prays. Your life will stay the same and produce no beneficial consequences if you do not comprehend the mystery of altars. Refuse, in the name of Jesus, God our Lord to labor in vain.

The book of Leviticus, God commands that the fire never go out. In our time, God was saying that the priesthood of prayer must endure forever because evil spirits and Satan will stay away from your altar as long as there is fire. When people travel to unholy places and ask for what they need, they will place something on the altar as a sacrifice, since an altar is never complete without a sacrifice. An altar requires a sacrifice in order to be activated.

Your soul is the target of both the divine spirit and the evil spirit. Because both the heavenly and demonic forces are vying for your soul, so they may both express their will because they are after your soul. Your life becomes what it is because of what was decided on the altar. Because your body is the sacrifice and your soul is the altar, your soul has the power or ability to call forth spirits. The Bible states that the fire must not go out on the altar. Nothing comes out of the physical realm without it being birthed on your altar, to materialize; your altar must give its approval. The altar is where God meets man. Souls are God’s heartbeat, and that is why Jesus came to earth. Heaven is joyful when someone repents because spirits are after souls.

What is fire?

1. Fire is the nature of God. Hebrews 12:29 states, “For our God is a consuming fire”.

2. Purification 1 Peter 1:7

3. Fire is the presence of God. ,

4. Fire speaks of judgement to anything ungodly.

5. Fire speaks of protection and guidance

6. Fire is one of the attributes of the Holy Spirit

7. Fire is symbolic to sacrifice and worship

God is the fire, and we are the altar. God must be called upon by man through the ministry of prayer. Recognize that your altar has been attacked if the enemy attacks your time spent in prayer. The primary purpose of prayer is to transform ourselves. Prayer is for one’s formation, not for information. God already knows what is going on in our minds and souls, so you cannot inform Him. To achieve success in life, practice continuous prayer.

Dimensions of prayer:

1. There are dimension of prayer that is for receiving petitions.

2. Warfare and intercession

3. Where you dispatch as a watchman.

KEEP THE FIRE BURNING!
